01Scope of this policy
This Privacy Policy explains how PulsarOS Intelligence Inc. handles personal information when you use OpenAGI, the walkable AI office platform. It covers the public site, the sign in and meeting flow, and the office you walk in through your browser or the desktop app.
OpenAGI is used by teams. In many cases the team that operates an office decides what happens inside that office and acts as the controller of the information there, while PulsarOS Intelligence Inc. provides the platform. Where your team operates the office, this policy works alongside your team's own privacy practices.
02What we collect
Account information
When your team provisions an account for you, we hold the details needed to run your access, such as your name or initials, your work email, and the password you set. Passwords are never stored in readable form; they are protected with a memory-hard hash.
Presence media
When you turn on your camera and microphone, OpenAGI processes that live video and audio to carry your presence onto the floor and to place your sound in the room you are standing in. This happens only while you have chosen to turn your camera or microphone on.
Meeting information
To run a meeting we handle the meeting number, the one-time password used to admit guests, and the fact that you joined a room. Meeting numbers are public labels; meeting passwords are secrets handled only to admit the right people.
Usage and technical information
- Basic technical data needed to serve the platform, such as the type of device and browser and the network address a request comes from.
- A record of sensitive actions, written to a tamper-evident log, so that the security of an office can be audited.
We do not seek to collect more than is needed to run the office, and we do not use tracking that follows you across other websites.
03How we use it
- To sign you in, hold your session, and give you access to the offices and meetings you are invited to.
- To carry your live presence onto the floor and to place your audio in the room you are standing in, when you turn your camera and microphone on.
- To run meetings, waiting rooms, and the admission of guests.
- To keep the platform secure, to detect and respond to misuse, and to maintain the auditable record of sensitive actions.
- To operate, maintain, and improve the platform, and to communicate with you about your access.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your presence media for advertising.
04The office and presence media
Presence in OpenAGI is spatial. Your live face is carried on your figure on the floor, and sound belongs to the room you are standing in, fading where you are not. This is what lets an office feel like a place rather than a grid of tiles.
You are in control of your camera and microphone
Your browser or device asks for permission before OpenAGI can use your camera or microphone, and you can turn them off at any time. When they are off, your live face and voice are not carried to the room.
Rooms are private
Rooms have doors, and the door is the privacy. While a door is open, the people in reach see your face and hear your voice; close the door and your face and voice stay inside the room completely, with only the people you admit able to step in. Please respect the privacy of the rooms and people around you.
05Storage and sovereignty
OpenAGI is built to be owned, not rented. The office runs on infrastructure that the operating team controls, on a hardened and auditable foundation. Where an office is operated on a team's own infrastructure, the data in that office lives on that infrastructure.
Live presence media is processed to place you in the room in real time. It is not our practice to record a person's live camera or microphone stream, and any recording of a meeting would be a deliberate, disclosed choice by the team that operates the office, subject to that team's own rules and to the consent of the people in the room.
06Security
Security is designed into OpenAGI from the first line rather than bolted on:
- Sessions are held server side as opaque handles, not as tokens a browser can read or a script can lift.
- Passwords are stored with a memory-hard hash, and reset and download links are single use and expire quickly.
- Administration is separated from the public surface, behind its own private network.
- Sensitive actions are written to a hash-chained log, so the record of what happened cannot be quietly rewritten.
No platform can promise perfect security. Keep your credentials private, use devices you trust, and report anything that looks wrong to the team that operates your office.
08Retention
We keep account and access information for as long as your account is active and as needed to run the office, and after that for as long as needed to meet legal, security, and audit obligations. Live presence media is processed in real time to place you in the room and is not retained as a matter of course. The tamper-evident record of sensitive actions is kept so that the security of an office can be audited over time.
09Your choices
- Turn your camera and microphone off at any time to stop carrying your live face and voice to the room.
- Ask the team that operates your office to review, correct, or remove the account information they hold about you.
- Depending on where you live, you may have rights under the privacy law that applies to you, such as the right to access or correct your information. To exercise them, contact us or the team that operates your office.
10Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as OpenAGI grows. When we make a material change, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, let the operating teams know. Please check back so you are aware of how we handle information.
11Contact
If you have a question about this policy or about the information we hold, reach us at privacy@openagi.ca. If your team operates your office, the person who invited you can also help with questions about the data in your office. See also the Terms of Service.
